The BEST^TM Microprocessor Learning Module is based on the PIC-MT development board.

The PIC-MT board is designed for a 28-pin programmable IC (PIC). The PIC chip provides 22 I/O lines, 14K bytes of Program memory, 368 bytes of RAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM.

The PIC-MT board also provides an ICSP 6 pin connector, a 16x2 alphanumeric display LCD, 6 buttons, frequency and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) inputs, an RS232 interface and connector, a status LED, a relay with 5A/250V_AC, an audio buzzer, and a 4MHz quartz oscillator.
